Last week, in between meetings and errands, I happened to pop into one of my favorite secondhand shops in LA - Wasteland. And while they are far from a thrift store (they carry gently used and new designer, current, and vintage clothing), shops that carry secondhand clothing give me a bigger thrill than any other kind of retail therapy. The possibility of what may be in the racks or on the shelves is just so irresistible to me - probably because I have been shopping stores like this my entire life.

I think it's no secret that hair clips and accessories are having a bit of a revival at the moment. Gone are the days of the thin black elastic meant to just hold your hair up and disappear. Gone are the bobby pins that are never meant to be seen. Lately, it's felt a lot more like the 90s when it comes to statement scrunchies and visible clips adorning your hair. And honestly? I'm here for it.

one  / two / three / four / five / six / seven

For some reason, the whole idea of shopping for clothing in December feels weird to me. Maybe it's because I'm so focused on getting gifts and cooking and baking for the holidays, but I always find that I spend less time online shopping around the holidays. Right after, though? That's when I get the spending itch. Here are seven pieces that I'm currently loving, and some of which I've purchased. I still haven't pulled the trigger on buying that ChloƩ purse - mostly because I cannot decide between the croc-embossed style or the brown one pictured above. But also mostlyyyy because it's a splurge and a half.

While the last time I spoke on my blog about flying, I was sharing my experience in the extreme comfort of an International Business Class flight (my first and hopefully not my last fancy flight), today I'm here to share the reality of what most international flights look like for me. Eric and I always fly economy, and while it's not exactly a comfortable experience when you're stuck in a seat for 11 hours, we have learned a few tips + tricks when it comes to what to bring on board with you. Click through to see my recommendations for what will get you through without feeling like an absolute wreck when you land.

Cozy knits will always be a staple of my wardrobe - despite living in a state that rarely requires that I wear one. There's just something about the perfect sweater that can make you feel like your look is not only completely comfortable, but styled and put-together. So today I'm sharing a few of my favorite sweaters + a list of my favorite places to shop for them.

When it comes to dressing for the holidays, I really like to look at the details. Sure, you could just throw on a sparkly dress, sky high heels, and a bold red lip, but I tend to gravitate towards something a bit more understated. A perfectly cozy sweater, tailored pants, and maybe an pop of detail with a festive hair clip or clutch. It's a more understated way to dress for special occasions, and I find that the pieces mix so much better into my wardrobe this way. I can reach for these styles again and again, holiday party or not. And even better? They make for great gifts. Which is why I am so happy to have partnered with Ann Taylor to share some of my favorite picks with you today.

I love choosing gifts for my friends and family. But, if I'm being honest, there are some people in my life who are easier to shop for than others. My closest friends, my husband, and my sister are always very easy to choose for. But picking gifts for my parents? That's usually where I need a little help. So this year, I am thrilled to partner with Ralph Lauren and their luxurious gift guide to find exactly what will make my parents happiest this holiday season.
