Maybe it's because I spent my weekend on the east coast, but I'm declaring that Summer is officially dead, and we're living in an Autumnal world. And while I know it's still plenty warm in a lot of the world, there's still plenty of chilly mornings and evenings coming up, perfect for trotting out your suede boots and coats. I'm about to leave for Paris tonight, so click below to see some of my favorite pieces I'm either planning on styling or wanting to purchase for the coming months.

Over the next two weeks, Eric and I will be heading out of LA, spending the weekend in Boston, 5 days in Paris, and 6 days driving around various cities in Switzerland. And while I'm tempted to just pack up everything I own and just "figure it out" when I land, I know that that will lead to stress, overpacking, and having to lug multiple giant suitcases around. I think a lot of the time when I see photos of bloggers traveling (especially during Fashion week) there is a tendency to glorify how many suitcases have been brought along. It's become the norm to show a bogged-down airport cart, or else an overflowing car trunk, stuffed to the brim with suitcases.

I'm not usually one to spend a lot of time online shopping. Well, not a ton of time, anyway. But if there is one time of year that I get especially excited about for new pieces, it's September. Right after Labor day, all of my favorite sites and brands put out their Autumn collections, and I spend a few hours with 15 tabs open on my browser, searching for treasures. And since I've already done the legwork, I figured I would share my finds with you. I'll be sharing more pieces as the month progresses, but here are some lovelies that caught my eye. Enjoy!

When it comes to traveling, one of my favorite resources is Airbnb. I would say about half of the time that I plan a trip, we end up staying in an Airbnb, and it is always the first place we look for lodging. It's usually much less money than a hotel, more unique, and can offer a better background for our travels. And while the places we stay don't always end up on the gram, they are usually so charming and perfect for relaxation. So today I'm rounding up 10 of our favorite Airbnbs from all over the world!

In the past few years (and more specifically in the past few months) I've started to consider my impact on the environment, specifically when it comes to what waste I produce. As a blogger, I tend to work in a more wasteful industry than most. PR packages that come in the mail often have lots of tissue and bubble wrap, and at the end of a busy week, our recycling bin is often full with cardboard boxes. There has been some improvement - some brands are getting better and I've happily watched the amount of filler and plastic packaging go down, all the while saving every single piece of tissue paper I receive to repurpose (seriously, I have a giant drawer of it). But there are still plenty of areas of my own life that needed to be looked at from the lens of environmental health, so today I'm going to talk about a change I've made gradually that is starting to become habit.

Just a few weeks ago, before all of the international travel, I had some time in my home state. California is pretty much the ultimate road tripping state, with so much to see just a few hours from home. So Eric and I packed up our van with plenty of looks by The Frilly, and started driving north.

Some of you may have seen me share this on Instagram, but recently, I've started going to Iris+West to have a new treatment done - a Lash Lift. Now you may be asking, just what in the world is a lash lift? So I'm here today to explain it all, share some before/after pics, and tell you why I'm throwing out my lash curler and making the switch.
