I realized recently that while I do share a good amount of myself on Instagram, on my blog I tend to write posts that focus on just one thing. A new pair of shoes, a trip I've taken, a single outfit. But what I really feel would be more interesting is sharing a quick snapshot of things in my life currently. Not just one thing, but sort of a mixed bag of maybe the shops that I'm loving, things I've got going on in my day-to-day, or even new products I'm trying out. I'm going to try to make this a weekly feature, so if you're into it, leave a comment below.

As some of you know, last year Eric and I bought a van. To be specific, a bright red, 1973 Ford Econoline. For as long as I've known Eric, he has wanted a van. His dad owned several in the 70s, and so it only seemed natural that that love would be passed down for all things Van-related. The culture surrounding these vintage rides still has the same spirit it did when they were new - exploring the world around you in a laid-back, easy way. Because when you open them up - it's not just a row of seats - inside it's like a mini house on wheels with everything you could need and nothing you don't. So for our first real trip in our van, we decided to partner up with Teva - because their shoes are what we would reach for naturally when camping so it's a match made in heaven.

Spring is such a great time for a wardrobe refresh. With new warmer weather comes opportunities to ditch the bulky sweaters and coats and pair lighter fabrics with bare legs (or maybe just one less layers of stockings). And while updating your whole wardrobe every season would be a serious bank-breaker, adding a fun new purse can be a great way to welcome in the change. A statement purse has a great way of elevating an outfit, creating a focal point, and allowing for more experimentation when it comes to how you dress. The best part? You don't have to spend much for a great find.

When I was a kid, I remember sitting on my grandma's lap, in a big chair, reading books with her. She was my sister and I's nanny during the day while my parents worked, and she did an amazing job helping us learn to read at an early age. I can picture it all so clearly - how the light came through the window, my grandmother's hands turning the pages for me. I can't remember her really wearing nail polish or much jewelry, but she did always always wear a watch. A little gold one in a square shape.

Oh Austin - you're one fun town. I've had the chance to visit Austin just once before, but this time Eric and I got to travel together. Even though it was gloomy and rainy for most of our trip, we still had a great time and got to do a ton! Plus it was an excellent opportunity to style some of my favorite pieces from Paige.

Ask and you shall receive. I've been getting a lot more DMs as of late with questions - and while I do try to answer them on Instagram as I receive them, sometimes I forget, or they fall through the cracks. In an effort to do right by you guys, I'm answering some of your frequently asked questions as well as drawing the curtain back a bit on my life. How do I get to travel so much? What is that dang nail polish color? Those slippers, where are they from? And that app you always use? I'm answering it all here.

For as long as I can remember, I've loved Chanel. Maybe it's because it was the first designer label I had ever heard of when I was small. Maybe it was the glossy images I saw in magazines as a teenager, or the No5 perfume my grandmother had on her vanity, or that time I found a heavily-worn vintage Chanel purse at a thrift store and clutched it to my chest like a prize. Chanel has always represented the ultimate luxury fashion house to me, and has always put out my favorite runway shows to pour over online, staring at the beautiful pieces. So when Chanel invited me (little ole me!) to come experience their Spring /Summer 2018 Haute Couture Collection in person in New York - I knew I had to go.
