Cat Skirt

I had a bit of a rough weekend, and spent far too much time indoors. So it was a relief when my boyfriend called and said he was going to take me out of my house. I was going a bit stir-crazy to say the least. We decided to head to Tustin for the annual Chili Cook-off, and unfortunately we got there a bit late. Most booths were out of chili, and the crowds were super thick. Neither of us likes big events with a lot of people, so we split rather quickly, and ended up at a local brewery. It ended up being a really relaxing and awesome day- exactly what I needed.

So, let's talk about this cat skirt. It's amazing right? I'm in loooove. I had seen a similar one online from an obscure label and thought, there's no way I can afford this. It was over $100 with shipping, and that just ain't in my budget. So I found a charming designer on Etsy, contacted her, and asked if she thought she could make something similar, for less. And oh how she delivered! This was custom-made to my measurements, for 1/4 of the original price. I cannot wait to have her make more lovely things!

Hope you all are having a great Monday. I've got a long week ahead, with some really great things and some not-so great things. Wish me luck!
