For the past few days I've been freezing my butt off in Ohio. I'm typing this blogpost from my hotel room, and all I can think is "look how few layers I'm wearing in these photos!". Being some place where it gets actually cold has made me appreciate how Midwestern and East Coast ladies manage to look cute in the rain, snow, and frost. Meanwhile I'm bumbling around in two thermals and a lumpy coat trying not to slip on the ice.
And since I've had a taste of what a real Winter is like, it has me longing for Spring. Brighter colors, less layers, bare (albeit pasty) legs, and sandals. It sounds like a dream to me right now, and I'm sure many of you feel the same way. Plus, it seems like every online shop is featuring their finest Spring previews, including Dear Creatures new line at Emerging Thoughts (modeled by the lovely Katie of Skunkboy Creatures). I seriously want every single piece.
So how do you all feel? Are you digging your sweaters still, or are you wishing for warmer days?
