Motel Life

I had one of the best weekends ever. My good friends were getting married, so I climbed in my car, drove up the California coast, and stayed at a darling vintage motel. We drank, we danced, and we had a merry time.

Traveling in the car for hours means the utmost level of comfort will be necessary, so I wore a few of my favorites. It's been so cold lately, so layers were needed as well. Just some comfy jeans, some chambray, and a big blanket sweater. Ahoy there, comfort!

But can we talk about these boots for a moment? I'm in love. I had been lusting after this pair of Freebird boots for a while  but since they were over $300, there's no way on earth I'd ever be able to afford them. But lo' and behold, Target heard my cries and delivered these boots!! Not an exact copy (which makes me happy), but they capture everything that I loved about the original pair, for only $35. I just had to get 'em.

Tomorrow I'll have the outfit I wore to the wedding - so excited for you all to see it, have a lovely Monday!
