Pioneertown (Part 1)

Well, we have returned from our adventure to Pioneertown CA! It was amazing, and we're all a little dusty/tired, but I just had to share these photos. We set out early Saturday morning and found this amazing giant spider in the desert. It's made out of a VW Bus on impossibly long stilts. Fabulous. Arrived in Pioneertown, and set to exploring. It's an old Western filming location from the 50's, but now is a total tourist destination. We made friends with the local bikers who were all there to grab a drink and hang out.

I (Courtney), Tulani, and our good friend Sadie all decided to wear our most Western-y outfits. We pushed open saloon doors, leaned on rickety fences, and even climbed on top of a beautiful horse. A very Western-y day indeed. I can't wait to share more of the photos from our trip with you in the next post, but for now, here are some photos of what we wore.

what we wore:

Courtney: thrifted denim vest / DIY high waisted shorts / bodysuit by faded glory / ASH icone booties / coach belt / fossil leopard purse / rayban wayfarers

Tulani: thrifted hat / F21 high waisted shorts / kimchi blue tank / vintage cowboy boots / vintage rayban wayfarers / vintage clutch

Sadie: F21 hat / thrifted sunglasses / AA blouse / DIY high waisted shorts / vintage cowboy boots / AA leather belt / vintage black leather purse
